Dhirajlal & Sons is tucked away on the first floor at Masjid Bunder West. The address is 43389, right on the Pune Solapur Road. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite the Punjab National Bank. It is a busy area with a lot of people moving goods back and forth. Our office is not very big, and since it is on the first floor, you have to climb some narrow stairs to get up here. It’s an old building, so the walls have some cracks and the floor creaks a bit when you walk. We’ve got stacks of ledgers and papers everywhere because that’s just how we keep track of things. It’s not a modern office with glass walls or anything like that. We have some heavy wooden desks that have been here for years. The windows stay open to let some air in, but you get all the street noise from the bank side. It can be hard to hear on the phone sometimes when the traffic is bad. We usually start the day with a bit of cleaning and then it’s straight into the work. We deal with a lot of regular people who have been coming to this area for decades. It feels like a small community even though it is so crowded. We don't spend money on fancy decorations, we just focus on the daily tasks.
