Dharmendra P Desai

Dharmendra P Desai is the name we use for our business in Ghatkopar West. We are situated in Vanik Niwas, specifically on the first floor in unit 14. Being on the first floor is great because we can just use the stairs and not worry about the lift. The building is quite old and has that classic Mumbai feel to it. You can see the history in the wooden railings and the heavy doors. Ghatkopar is a very busy area, especially near the station side. We get a lot of noise from the street below, with people shouting and horns honking all day. Our office is quite cramped because we have accumulated a lot of stuff over the years. We have stacks of files and some old computers that still work perfectly fine. It’s not a polished environment by any means. We have some tea stains on the desks and the walls aren't perfectly white anymore. We don't care much for appearances as long as the work gets done. Most of our clients are people who live or work nearby. They appreciate that we are easy to reach and don't put on any airs. We spend our days going through the usual tasks and chatting with whoever drops by. It is a very grounded way to work. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time and we know the local rhythm.
