Mumbai Dream Tours

Mumbai Dream Tours is based out of Dharavi Kumbharwada on the 90 Feet Road. We are directly opposite the Everest Hotel, which is a big landmark in this area. Being in Kumbharwada means we are surrounded by the pottery makers. You can see the clay pots stacked up high on the sidewalks nearby. Our office is quite small and simple. We have a wooden desk and a few chairs for when people come to visit. The 90 Feet Road is always full of traffic, so there is a lot of honking and dust. We spend our mornings cleaning the furniture before the first guests arrive. It is a very lively neighborhood with a lot of energy. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the area well. There are maps pinned to the wall and some notebooks where we keep our schedules. Sometimes the smell of the kilns is very strong, but we are used to it by now. The Everest Hotel is where we often meet people if they can't find our exact door. It is not a fancy corporate office with air conditioning and glass walls. It is a real place in the middle of a working community. We just sit here and plan out the days. It is honest work and we like being right where the action is in Dharavi.
