Devi Enterprises

Devi Enterprises is run out of Goregaon East, specifically at A/48. It’s a pretty standard setup for a small business in this part of town. We handle a variety of things depending on what our customers are looking for. Most of the time, our day is spent checking on inventory and making sure the deliveries are ready to go out. The space in A/48 is filled with boxes and some old furniture we use for desks. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is, which is the important part. There are only a few of us working here, so we all know each other’s business. We don’t really follow a strict corporate schedule. If the work is done, we might head home early, but if there’s a big shipment coming in, we stay until it’s all sorted. People in Goregaon East have been coming to us for a long time. They know we aren't going to give them any complicated sales pitches. We just tell them what we have and what it costs. It’s a simple way of doing things that has worked for us so far. The building itself is nothing special, just a regular brick and mortar spot where we spend our hours. It’s a bit dusty sometimes, but it feels like home to us after all these years. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
