I run Desktop from B 101 in Mukund Nagar, which is over in Kandivali East. It’s a straightforward setup in a residential-commercial mix area. Most of the work involves sitting in front of screens, as the name might suggest. I’ve been in Mukund Nagar for quite a few years now, and I’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot. The office itself is just a room with a few workstations and a lot of cables running everywhere. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but it’s where I get things done. People from the nearby buildings often drop in with their technical issues or questions about their setups. I try to help them out without making things too complicated for them. Kandivali East has a lot of energy, and there’s always something happening outside the window. I spend my days troubleshooting or putting together systems for people. It’s a one-man show most of the time, though sometimes I get some help when the workload gets too heavy. There’s a tea stall just around the corner that I frequent every afternoon. I don't have a big marketing plan or a polished reception area. If someone needs something fixed or set up, they just give me a call or walk into B 101. It’s a practical, local way of doing business. I like the independence of it and being able to work at my own pace most days. It gets the job done and keeps me busy.
