Design Enterprises

We are tucked away in the Antophill Warehouse over in Wadala. Specifically, you can find us at Plot No-A/210. Working out of a warehouse is a bit different than having a storefront on a main street. It’s a large, high-ceilinged space that stays relatively cool even when it’s hot outside. Design Enterprises is what we call ourselves, but mostly we’re just a small group of people who spend our days surrounded by materials and drawings. The area around Wadala is always humming with activity, especially with the warehouse being so active. You’ll hear the sound of carts being rolled down the hallways and people shouting to each other across the loading docks. Our particular spot is where all the thinking and creating happens. We have large tables spread out where we can look at big prints and layouts. It’s not exactly a "pretty" office with plants and fancy chairs. It’s more of a functional space where we don’t mind getting our hands dirty or making a mess while we’re in the middle of a project. We like the warehouse vibe because it gives us plenty of room to spread out our work without feeling cramped. Most of our visitors are people we’ve known for years. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a steady kind of life here in the warehouse. We don't really feel the need to move to a traditional office because this space lets us be as messy as we need to be to get the designs right.
