Deluxe Plastic House

You can find us at Shop No 404 on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road. It’s right there on Sheikh Memon Street, which is always crowded and noisy. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know the energy. Deluxe Plastic House has been squeezed into this spot for quite some time. The shop is full of plastic items from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it’s hard to even find a place to sit down because there are so many crates and bags everywhere. We don’t have air conditioning, just a couple of old fans that hum all day long. It gets pretty hot in the summer months. We talk to all kinds of people who walk in off the street. Some are regulars and some are just passing through the market. The traffic outside is constant, with horns honking and people shouting. It’s just the way things are in this part of the city. We open early and stay open until the sun goes down. Sheikh Memon Street is a tough place to work if you don't like noise, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don’t bother with fancy displays. We just put the goods out where people can see them. It’s a bit messy, and there’s always something that needs to be moved or rearranged. But we know exactly where everything is located, even if it looks like a jumble to anyone else. It's a busy life but it's ours.
