Deepak Traders

Deepak Traders is located in Masjid Bunder West at Shop No 13 in Building No 45. We are right opposite the Professional Courier office, which is a busy spot with people sending parcels all day. This part of Mumbai is famous for its narrow lanes and heavy trading, and we are right in the thick of it. Our shop is mostly a space for wholesale and trading, so you’ll see lots of boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy decorations. We prefer to keep things functional. The building itself is old, like most of the structures in Masjid Bunder, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers, checking inventory, and coordinating with the loaders. It’s a lot of physical work and shouting over the noise of the handcarts outside. We’ve been here for many years and have built a lot of trust with the other traders around us. We don't really do the whole corporate thing; we just deal in cash and credit like everyone else in the market. It’s a tough environment but there’s a lot of energy here. If you come by, just look for the building opposite the courier and you’ll find us. We usually close up shop when the light starts to fade because the street lighting isn't great.
