Deepak Corporation

Our spot is on Old Padra Road in Vadodara, specifically over at 6D in the Kalbadevi area. It is a straightforward place where we handle the daily business for Deepak Corporation. We have been in this part of Vadodara for some time, so we are used to the rhythm of the street and the way traffic moves outside. The office itself is mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to get a bit full. We don’t really go in for decorations or anything like that. It is mostly just a place to get the work done. The morning starts with opening up the shutters and letting some air in before it gets too hot. We deal with a lot of different people coming through for various requirements. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and writing things down in notebooks. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, which can be a pain, but we manage. The building is older, so it has that specific smell of concrete and old paper. We have a small corner where we keep some water and a few glasses. It’s nothing special to look at, just a regular workplace where we spend our eight or nine hours a day. We know the chai guy nearby pretty well. It’s a decent enough spot to run things from, and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the plumbing and the squeaky front door over the years.
