Deepa Furnitures

We are located at 105 Kandivali West, which is a busy spot to be in. The shop is filled with all sorts of furniture, from heavy wardrobes to small stools. It is always a bit of a squeeze to move around in here because we try to keep a lot of stock on the floor for people to see. Sometimes it feels like a maze of wood and upholstery. We spend a lot of our time talking to people who come in to see if a sofa will fit in their small apartment. It’s a lot of measuring and re-measuring. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that, it is just us helping out whoever walks through the door. The furniture comes in and out, and sometimes we get a bit of a scratch on something that we have to fix up quickly. Moving these heavy pieces isn't easy and we've all had our fair share of stubbed toes and sore arms. Kandivali is a crowded place and our shop reflects that energy. We have been here for years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s just a regular store where we try to give people something decent for their homes. We close up late and then head home to do it all over again the next day. It’s a simple business but it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. There is always someone looking for a new chair.
