Deep Enterprises

Down in Dadar West, over at Paliyadnagar 1, is where we keep the shop running. Dadar is always moving, so there’s never really a quiet moment outside the door. Our building is one of those older ones that has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit steep if you’re carrying a heavy load. We do a bit of everything here, mostly acting as a point for people to get the supplies they need for their own small businesses. The front desk is usually covered in notebooks and pens because we still like to write everything down as it happens. We have boxes stacked up in the corners, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for. The light inside isn’t the brightest, so we have a few extra lamps plugged in near the work areas. It’s a tight squeeze when more than two or three people are inside at once. Most of our neighbors are also running small shops, so there’s a lot of shouting back and forth across the way. We don't really have a marketing team or anything like that, just us making sure the orders are filled and the door stays open during the usual hours. It’s practical work, and we’ve been doing it this way for as long as I can remember. Sometimes we stay late just to reorganize.
