Darshan Engineers

Darshan Engineers is located in Unit No 2 of the Sardar Pratap Singh City Industrial Estate. This is in Bhandup West, right across from the Pannalal Compound. It’s a real industrial area with lots of trucks and noise. We’ve been in this unit for a good while. Inside, it’s mostly machinery and workbenches. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find us covered in oil or dust. We handle various engineering jobs for local factories and shops. It’s practical work that requires a lot of attention. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole night fixing them. That’s just part of the life. We don’t do any big advertising. Most of our clients are other businesses in the same industrial estate. We know the guys at the tea stall and the other shop owners around here. It’s a tight-knit community of workers. The heat in the summer can be pretty bad inside the unit, but we have a couple of fans that help a bit. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out. There’s no corporate ladder here, just a few of us trying to make a living. We like the grit of Bhandup. It’s a place where things actually get built. We plan to stay in Unit 2 as long as we can. It’s a decent spot for the work we do.
