Dr Gems

You can find us at Dr Gems in the Indarprasth Tower, which is on Carter Road No. 5 over in Borivali East. We’re in room 101. It’s a decent spot, not too far from the station if you’re walking. We spend most of our time here sorting through stones and dealing with the usual daily tasks that come with a gem business. The tower is easy to spot, though the elevator can be slow during the lunch hour. We’ve got our desks set up to get the best light for looking at gems. It’s not a big corporate office with leather chairs. It’s more of a workspace where things actually happen. We have regulars who stop by just to see what we’ve gotten in lately. Borivali is always moving, but inside No. 101, things are usually a bit calmer. We handle a variety of pieces, some loose stones and some set in jewelry. My desk is usually covered in papers and small bags, but I know where everything is. We don’t do a lot of talking about ourselves; we just let the work speak for itself. It’s been our home for a while now. If you’re in the area, you probably know the building. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing. It’s a practical way to spend the day, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep going.
