Danfil Mould

We’ve been working here at Chakala 2nd Cross Lane for quite some time now. Danfil Mould is basically just us doing our thing in Lokhandwala B/3/4. It gets pretty busy around here with all the tools and the noise, but that is just how it goes when you're making things from scratch. We started out small and stayed that way mostly because we like knowing exactly what is going out the door. Some days it is just a lot of measuring and double-checking everything. People come by the shop when they need something specific made up. We don't really do the whole fancy office thing because most of our time is spent on the floor anyway. It can be a bit dusty and the tea stall nearby is where we usually take our breaks. It is a decent spot to be in, right here in the lane. If you are looking for us, we are usually around from morning until late evening depending on how much work we have piled up. Sometimes the machines act up or the weather makes it too hot to move fast, but we get it done eventually. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a steady one that stays open. That is pretty much the story of our shop. It is not always perfect but it is what we do.
