Daksha Mohan Thakkar

Daksha Mohan Thakkar is based out of Mulund West. We are located at 201 Siddhi Apartments on Modi Street. This is mostly a residential area. You can often see kids playing in the street and people heading off to the local market. Our office is basically a converted room in the apartment. It feels a lot more like a home than a typical place of business. We have a small balcony where we try to keep some plants alive. They don't always look very healthy, but we do our best with them. Modi Street is usually quite busy in the morning hours. There is a lot of noise coming from the various shops located nearby. We have lived and worked in the Mulund area for many years now. It’s a nice place to be. It isn't nearly as crowded as some parts of South Mumbai. Inside our space at 201, things are kept pretty simple. We have a couple of tables, a laptop, and stacks of papers. We don't have a receptionist sitting at the door. If the doorbell rings, one of us just gets up and goes to answer it. We like it better that way. It keeps the whole thing feeling personal. Sometimes we end up having tea with people who just drop by for a chat. We don't really do formal meetings. We just sit down and talk things through. The Siddhi Apartments building is kept in good shape.
