D B Furniture

D B Furniture is located at 6 Vile Parle East. It is a local spot where we spend our time working with wood and various pieces of household items. Vile Parle is a busy area, but our shop has a very specific feel to it once you step inside. You will usually find sawdust on the floor and the sound of tools being used in the back. It is a practical environment where we don't worry too much about having a shiny floor or fancy decorations on the walls. Most of the space is taken up by half-finished pieces or planks of wood leaning against the corners. We have been in Vile Parle for a good while, and many people from the surrounding blocks know us just by walking past every day. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how we arrange everything. The front door stays open most of the time to let the air circulate, especially when we are doing some heavy sanding or finishing work. It is an honest kind of work, and we like the physical nature of it. When a customer comes in, they usually see us right in the middle of a job. We don't have a separate office or anything like that. Everything happens right there in the main room where the benches and the wood are kept.
