Crown Arts

Crown Arts is located at Shop Number 1 on AS Marg in Powai. If you are near the Mini Punjab restaurant by the IIT, we are just a short walk away. We do a lot of art-related work, mostly focused on painting and making display boards. It’s a relatively small shop, and it’s usually filled with the smell of paint and thinner. We have brushes, cans of oil paint, and pieces of wood scattered around. Some days the floor is covered in sawdust or paint drips. We don't mind the mess because it shows we are working. We get a fair amount of work from the students over at the institute when they have their festivals. They usually come in with some interesting ideas that keep us on our toes. We aren't really digital experts. We still like doing things with our hands and using actual brushes whenever possible. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside when we’re waiting for a piece to dry. The traffic on AS Marg is always heavy, so there’s plenty to watch. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. We don't have any fancy reception area or a coffee machine for guests. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. People know us for being straightforward about what we can do and how long it will take. We just focus on keeping the lines straight and the colors looking decent enough for the customers.
