Creative Plastic

Creative Plastic is tucked away in Malad West, over in New Amrut Nagar on Kherwadi Road 11. It’s a decent enough spot, mostly surrounded by other small workshops and houses. We’ve been operating from this location for quite some time. The machines we use for the plastic work can be pretty loud, but we’ve gotten used to the constant hum. We spend a lot of our time sweeping up plastic shavings because they seem to get into every corner of the room. It’s a bit of a never-ending task. Our space isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. There is a small window that lets us see what’s happening on Kherwadi Road, which is nice when you need to clear your head for a minute. We don’t have any fancy office staff or marketing people. It’s just a few of us who know the equipment and how to get the jobs finished. We have learned how to fix most of the breakdowns ourselves because calling someone out costs too much and takes too long. New Amrut Nagar is a busy little neighborhood, and we feel like we belong here. We don’t have any big speeches about what we do. We just come in every morning, start the machines, and work until it’s time to go home. It’s a simple way to live and it works for us. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay busy.
