Confidence

We've been at the Chopde Audhyogik Sankul in Goregaon West for quite a while now. Most people know the Ramtekdi Industrial Area, it’s a busy spot with a lot of noise and movement. Our place is at unit 167. It’s not a fancy office, just a workspace where we get things done. Confidence is what we call ourselves, but we're mostly just regular folks working daily. The stairs can be a bit steep some days. We open up early and usually stay until the work is finished. Goregaon is crowded, especially around here, but it's where we've settled. Some people struggle to find the exact gate because the industrial area is huge, but once you're here, it’s straightforward. We deal with whatever comes our way. There isn't much to say about us besides that we show up and do the job. Some of us have lived in this part of Mumbai our whole lives. We know the tea stalls nearby and which roads get flooded when it rains hard. It's just a local business life. Nothing flashy or special, just a group of people working out of a shed in an industrial complex. If you are looking for us, look for the big sign near the entrance of the sankul. We're usually around from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we manage. That’s just how it is for us here.
