Colgate Palmolive Ltd.

Down here on Sewri Fort Road, things move at a certain pace. We are located at number 6, and it’s a fairly old-school industrial vibe in this part of Sewri. Colgate Palmolive Ltd. has had this presence here for a long time. It’s a functional place, mostly brick and concrete. You can smell the salt air sometimes because we’re so close to the water. Inside, it’s all about the day-to-day operations. We’ve got workers coming in and out, and trucks pulling up to the gates at all hours. It’s loud and it can get pretty dusty with all the activity on the road. We don't have a fancy lobby with marble floors. It’s more about the work benches and the shipping docks. The office part is a bit cramped, with desks pushed together and plenty of old folders stacked up in the corners. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. It’s the kind of place where everyone wears sturdy shoes because you’re always walking across the warehouse floor. We don't spend much time on flowery talk. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the products are moving out to where they need to go. It’s hard work, and the humidity can be a real pain in the summer, but we’re used to it by now. It’s just our regular routine. People here just know their jobs and get on with the business of the day.
