Our place, Charkha Detergents & Soap Ent. Pvt. Ltd., is located at A-3 in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. If you come by, you’ll probably smell the soap before you see the sign. Wazirpur is a busy, gritty industrial zone, and we fit right in with the other factories around here. We spend our time making detergents and different kinds of soaps. It is a process that involves a lot of mixing and packing, so the floor is always busy. We aren't a big fancy brand with huge television ads. We just focus on making a product that works for people’s laundry and cleaning needs. The building is an industrial unit, so it’s built for work, not for looks. We have been operating here for a good number of years and have seen the area change quite a bit. Our staff is mostly local people who know the trade well. We don't have any polished corporate offices or high-tech showrooms. It’s just vats, boxes, and the smell of cleaning products. Sometimes the machines need a bit of a kick to stay running, but we keep things moving regardless. Wazirpur can be a bit dusty and crowded, but it’s where the real work happens.
