Colaba Carpet Industries

Colaba Carpet Industries is tucked away in room 333 of the Arun Chambers on Tardeo Road. If you know Mumbai, you know how hectic this area gets. Our office is full of samples and old ledgers. We have been operating from this building for quite a long time. It is not the most modern place, and the elevators can be a bit slow, but it is home to us. We handle a lot of different types of carpets, mostly focusing on getting them from the makers to the people who want them. It is a lot of phone calls and paperwork. We do not have a big showroom with bright lights. Most of our work happens at these old desks. We know the carpet business inside out because we have seen how things have changed over the decades. Tardeo Road is always noisy, but once you get up to the third floor, it is a bit calmer. We have a small team here. Everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the phone to checking the quality of a new batch. We do not bother with big marketing campaigns. We just focus on the carpets and the people we have worked with for years. Sometimes we have tea and talk about how much the city has changed since we started. It is a steady life. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day.
