Classic Telecom

If you walk down Irla Society Road in Vile Parle West, you’ll find us at G/1. Classic Telecom has been in this little corner for a while. The shop isn't very big, but we pack a lot into it. Dealing with phones and all the stuff that goes with them means the shelves are always full of boxes. It gets pretty loud on the street outside, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. We spend a lot of time talking to people who come in with broken screens or buttons that don't work anymore. It’s a lot of sitting behind the counter and looking at tiny parts. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break for a few minutes. Vile Parle is a good place to be, even if parking is a nightmare for everyone. We know most of the neighbors now. When a new phone comes out, things get a bit more hectic, but usually, it’s just steady work. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the cables get tangled up behind the desk. It’s just one of those things. People come in asking questions about their plans or why their signal is bad, and we do what we can to help them out. It’s not a corporate office, just a local shop where we know your name if you come in twice. We have a small stool for customers to sit on while they wait. The floor needs a sweep pretty often because of the foot traffic. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in. It’s simple.
