Classic Mobile Gallery Sales & Service sits right on the main road in New Janata Colony over in Cheeta Camp. I spend most of my mornings cleaning the glass cases and checking what stock came in from the suppliers. People drop by for all sorts of things, mostly when their phone screen goes dark or they need a quick recharge for their talk time. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic, but we are used to it by now. The shop isn't huge, just enough space for the counters and a small spot in the back where the repair work happens. Sometimes the tea stall guy brings over a cup while I'm talking to a customer about a new battery or a pair of earphones. It’s been a few years since we opened here. Most people living around the colony know us by name and just stop by to say hello. We don't do anything fancy, just the usual phone stuff and fixing what's broken. Some days are packed and others we just sit and watch the street life go by. It’s a decent life and the work keeps us busy. I keep the doors open till late because that is when most people finish work and head home. They stop in for a cable or just to ask a question about their signal. We try to keep things simple here without too much talk or bother for anyone.
