If you go to 8 Ghatkopar West, right near the H O Dharma Nagar, you’ll find us. We are directly opposite the Bank of India. The first thing you’ll notice when you walk in is the smell of cut wood and maybe some polish. We make all sorts of things like cupboards, tables, and bed frames. It’s a messy shop because there is always sawdust on the floor no matter how much we sweep it up. We have tools scattered across the workbenches and piles of wood waiting to be cut. People from the neighborhood come to us when they need a specific size of shelf or when an old chair starts wobbling. We don't use fancy machines for everything; a lot of it is just done by hand with hammers and saws. It takes time to get things right. Sometimes a customer brings in a drawing on a scrap of paper and we try to make it look like that. The Bank of India across the street is a good marker for people who haven't visited us before. We’ve been in Ghatkopar for years and we’ve seen families grow up and come back for furniture for their own kids. It’s a simple business built on making things that last. We don't have a catalog. You just come in, tell us what you need, and we start working on it.
