Mumbai is a crowded place, especially around Crawford Market. Our office for Eta Engineering Pvt Ltd is right in the middle of all that chaos. We are at 118 Carnac Road on the first floor. We share the space with Fabco. It’s an old building, the kind you see everywhere in this part of town. The stairs are a bit narrow and you have to watch your step when carrying boxes up. Outside, the sounds of the market never really stop. There are people selling everything from fruit to hardware right on the street. It’s busy from early morning until late at night. Inside, it’s a bit quieter but you still hear the horns honking. We have our desks set up and we spend most of the day on the phone or working through paperwork. Being at Crawford Market means everything is close by, but the traffic is a nightmare if you’re trying to move stuff in a truck. We’ve been at this spot for a long time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. It’s just how things are in Mumbai. You find a spot that works and you stick with it. We handle the engineering side of things while the city moves fast outside our windows. It's a real place with real people working hard every day. Nothing fancy here, just work.
