Chembur Furniture

Chembur Furniture is located at Shop No 21-22 on Shell Colony Road. We’ve been here in the Puruna Patna Layout for a long time. Our shop is right near the 19th cross and the railway crossing road, so we hear the trains going by all day. We deal with all kinds of furniture—sofas, beds, cupboards, and things like that. It’s a dusty job sometimes, with all the wood and moving things around. The shop is full of stuff, so you have to weave your way through the aisles. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights, just the pieces we’ve made or have in stock. A lot of our customers are from the neighborhood, people who are moving into a new flat or just need to replace an old chair. We spend a lot of time helping people pick out what fits their home. Sometimes we’re out for deliveries, trying to navigate the narrow roads around this part of Chembur. It’s hard work, lifting heavy things and making sure they don’t get scratched. We don’t use any fancy sales talk; we just show what we have and tell people the price. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. Most days it’s just us and the sound of the traffic outside. If you’re looking for something for your house, you can just stop by and see what’s on the floor.
