Cheatan Furniture

Our workshop is at number 23 in the Nitin Industrial Complex. We are out in Dahisar, which is a bit of a distance from the main city but it works for us. Cheatan Furniture is where we make all our pieces. The place is always full of wood planks, saws, and sawdust. It is not a clean or quiet environment. We spend the whole day measuring, cutting, and hammering things together. It is a lot of physical work and it can get quite hot in the summer with all the machinery running. The industrial complex is a busy place with lots of other small businesses like ours. We often talk to the neighbors or help each other out with tools. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and carpets. People usually come right into the workshop to see what we are making. We show them the different types of wood and explain how we build the furniture. It is very straightforward. We have a small area where we keep our finished pieces, but mostly the space is used for working. We have been doing this for a long time and we like the feeling of making something with our hands. It is a simple business. We don't have many employees, just a few of us who know the trade. We just keep building things and taking orders as they come in. It’s what we know how to do.
