Charak Pharma

Charak Pharma is located in Panvel, Raigad, right near the Life Line Hospital. Being so close to such a busy hospital means we are always on our toes because people often come to us with urgent needs. Panvel is a very crowded area and the street outside our door is rarely quiet with all the ambulances and cars passing through. Our shop is a practical space where we try to keep a wide variety of medicines on the shelves. It is not very big so we have to be very clever about how we stack things to make sure we don’t run out of space. We have a small team here and we’ve all been working together for quite a while now. Most of our time is spent reading prescriptions and checking our inventory. The humidity in Raigad can be tough during the monsoon but we just keep the doors open and get on with our work. We do not have any fancy furniture or a big waiting area. People usually just stand by the counter while we find what they need. We tell newcomers to just look for the Life Line Hospital if they get lost because it is the best landmark around. Every evening we tidy up the shelves and make a list of what needs to be restocked for the next morning. It is a busy life but it feels useful to be right here where the help is needed.
