Chamunda Mobiles

We are situated in Goregaon West, at shop number 105. Chamunda Mobiles is a place where we mostly focus on fixing what’s broken. Whether it’s a cracked screen, a button that doesn't click anymore, or a phone that took a swim in a puddle, we’ve probably seen it before. The shop is filled with the smell of solder and the sound of fans running to keep the heat down. We have shelves full of spare parts and boxes of tempered glass. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two customers are inside at the same time. Goregaon is always moving, and we try to keep up with the pace. People are usually in a hurry to get their devices back, so we work under those tiny magnifying desk lamps for hours. Sometimes my eyes get tired, but it’s satisfying when a phone finally powers up after a long repair. We don’t use any big machines, just some steady hands and a few screwdrivers. The neighboring shopkeepers are good people, and we often share a snack in the afternoon when things quiet down for a bit. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just find us by word of mouth or by seeing the sign when they're walking to the station. It’s a simple life, fixing gadgets and watching the world go by from our little shop window.
