Chaitanya Neon

I've been working out of this spot at Mangela Chs for a while now. Most people know the building since it's right across from the Vikram petrol pump on the Juhu Versova Link Road. It's a busy part of Andheri West, but we manage. Chaitanya Neon isn't some big fancy office. It’s more of a practical space where things actually get done. We spend most of our time dealing with the neon work and making sure stuff looks right before it goes out. Sometimes the traffic on the link road makes it hard for deliveries, but we've figured out the shortcuts over the years. Being in B/504 means we’re tucked away a bit, but the locals know where to find us if they need something. I don't really have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know the trade. We started small and just kept at it. There’s always noise from the street, and it gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is working in Mumbai. People drop by mostly because they’ve heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. It’s just about doing the work day in and day out. If you're driving past the petrol pump, you're pretty much right there. We keep the shop open pretty regular hours, though sometimes we're out on a job site. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here in Andheri.
