Chairswalla

Our shop is on Chandawarkar Lane in Borivali West, right in the 4th Phase. If you know where the Rajmahal Hotel is, we are very close to that. We go by Chairswalla because, well, that’s exactly what we do. We have chairs of all kinds crammed into our space. There are plastic ones, wooden ones, and those swivel chairs for offices. Some are stacked all the way to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when you walk in. We don't have a fancy showroom floor with bright spotlights. It’s just a shop floor with chairs everywhere. Sometimes we are out the back fixing a broken leg or replacing some old fabric. It’s a bit dusty because of all the wood and foam. We’ve been in Borivali for a long time, so we know most of the neighbors. People come in looking for something comfortable to sit on while they work or something cheap for their dining room. We don't give long sales pitches. We just let people sit in them and see for themselves. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the lane for a few minutes, which makes the local drivers annoyed, but we try to be quick. It’s just a small local business. We keep things simple. If you need a chair, you come to Chandawarkar Lane and see what we have in stock. It’s honest work and we like being part of the community here. We just like making sure people have a place to sit.
