Chairs Bazaar

If you are looking for us, we are located in Shop No 2 of the Rustomjee Building in Andheri East. It is right next to the big Viraj Towers, so it is pretty easy to find once you get into the Basettypet area. The shop is basically just rows and rows of different chairs stacked up on top of each other. We have office chairs, stools, and those folding ones that everyone seems to need for their homes. There isn't much space to walk around inside because we try to keep as much stock as possible on the floor. Usually, there is a thin layer of dust on the plastic covers that we have to wipe off when someone wants to sit down and try a chair out. The lights are a bit dim in the back of the shop, but you can see enough to tell the colors apart. My desk is tucked into a far corner behind a stack of revolving chairs that haven't sold yet. It gets noisy with the traffic from the main road, but you get used to it after working here for a week. People come in from the nearby offices looking for something comfortable for their staff. We do not have a fancy printed catalog; we just show you what is physically here and tell you the price. Sometimes we have to move twenty chairs just to get to one specific color at the bottom of the pile. It is a lot of lifting and moving boxes.
