Central Cement Suppy

You can find us at Shop No 76 on Tandel Street. We are right opposite the Masjid and near that Development Credit Bank Limited. Central Cement Suppy is basically what the name says. We spend our time moving heavy bags of cement and talking to contractors who come by. The shop is usually dusty because of the stock, but that’s normal for this kind of business. It’s a busy street, so there is always noise and people passing by. We keep the inventory stacked up and try to stay organized, even when things get chaotic during the peak season. Being near the bank makes it easy to find us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years. Some days we have a lot of deliveries to sort out and other days it’s just locals stopping in for a bag or two for a small repair at home. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure the orders go out. The shop isn’t fancy at all. It’s just a place of work. We handle the loading and unloading ourselves most of the time. It’s physical work and it can be tiring. We just stick to what we know, which is cement. If you walk down Tandel Street, you can’t really miss the shop. We’re usually there early in the morning to get a head start on the day’s deliveries and the trucks often block the lane while we load up the stock.
