Our office is located at 602, Gautamapartment, right on Narsing Lane in Malad West. Being in Mumbai, especially in Malad, means we are right in the thick of things. The building is one of those older residential blocks that has a lot of businesses tucked away inside it. Finding a parking spot on Narsing Lane is almost impossible most days, so we usually tell people to take an auto-rickshaw if they can. Our floor is high enough that we get a bit of a breeze, which is nice when the weather isn't too miserable. The office itself is pretty basic. We’ve got some old wooden desks and chairs that have been with us for years. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a magazine, but it’s sturdy and it serves the purpose. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and someone will probably look up from their screen and say hello. Everyone around Narsing Lane just knows us as Ccil. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time now, so the local shopkeepers know us by name. It feels like a small community even though it's in a massive city like Mumbai. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. We know how each other likes their coffee and who is likely to be late when it rains. It’s a simple, honest way to work.
