C Mohan Ramakrishnan

I’m C Mohan Ramakrishnan. My place is at 2 Tilak Nagar, Plot No 13, inside the Shri Nagar Complex. It’s a residential-style complex, so it feels very lived-in and comfortable. I’ve been operating from here because it’s convenient and it lacks the coldness of a commercial district. Tilak Nagar is a bustling area, and Shri Nagar Complex is right in the middle of it all. My setup is very basic. I have what I need to work and not much else. I don’t see the point in spending a lot on decorations or expensive carpets. That doesn’t help the work get done. I’ve met a lot of people over the years just by being here. It’s the kind of place where you stop and chat for a minute. I handle my business with a direct approach. No fancy words or complicated processes. If someone asks for something, I tell them what I can do. It’s honest and it works for me. The complex has its own rhythm—kids playing in the evening, people coming home from work. It feels like a real part of the city. I’m just one person in a big complex, doing my job day by day. It’s not glamorous, but it’s my reality and I’m fine with it. I wake up, I work, and I try to do right by the people who trust me.
