Our office is tucked away in the Parel Municipal Building, room 1/613. It’s one of those old government-style buildings with long corridors and a lot of history. We’ve been operating from here for quite some time now. The work we do is mostly related to accounting and tax filings. It involves a lot of numbers and making sure the books match up at the end of the month. It’s not the most exciting job, but it’s necessary for the businesses we help. We have a lot of regular clients who have been coming to us for years. They know the way through the building, which can be a bit of a maze if you're new. The desks are covered in ledgers and printouts. We don't really go for a modern look; it’s more about having a place to sit and concentrate on the calculations. Some days are really quiet, and we just listen to the ceiling fan hum while we work. Other times, especially around tax season, it gets very crowded with people bringing in their receipts and papers. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign, just our name on the door. It’s a small operation, just a few of us keeping things moving. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the neighborhood. It’s a steady, predictable kind of life here in Parel. We just focus on the numbers and try to stay organized through all the paperwork.
