You can find us at Shop No.1/4 in the Bandra Complex. We are pretty close to the railway station, so there is always a crowd passing by. The sound of the trains is something you just get used to after a week of working here. We make signs. It’s a lot of cutting, glueing, and making sure the letters are straight. Some days our hands are covered in glue or bits of vinyl. It’s hard work and the shop gets pretty cramped when we have a big order. We have tools hanging on the walls and rolls of material tucked under the benches. It’s not a showroom. It’s a workshop. We don't have a lot of time for polishing things up for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in the middle of a project. We drink a lot of chai from the stall across the street. The floor is usually covered in plastic shavings. We’ve been here at this station-side spot for a good while. We know the regulars who walk past every morning to catch their train. It’s a good community. We don't put on any acts. We just do the work we know how to do. Sometimes a sign takes longer than we thought, or the weather makes the glue dry slow. We just deal with it. It’s a simple life in a busy part of Bandra. We just try to finish the work before the day ends.
