Blackberry Experience Zone

Located at 1-A Charni Road, the Blackberry Experience Zone is where we spend our days. Charni Road has its own specific vibe, very old Mumbai in some ways but always busy. Our place is set up to show what these devices can do. It’s a bit more specialized than your average mobile shop. We have the phones laid out so people can actually touch them and see the keyboards. A lot of folks who come here are looking for something very specific for their work. The shop is kept tidy, though with the door opening and closing all day, the city noise and dust definitely come in. We have some stools where people can sit while we walk them through the features. It’s not a massive space, so if three or four groups come in at once, it feels pretty full. We don't use a lot of fancy talk; we just show people how to set up their email or fix a setting. Sometimes we are just troubleshooting for regulars who have had their phones for years. The lighting is okay, but we could probably use a few more bulbs in the back corner. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on being here on Charni Road and people knowing we are the ones to talk to about these particular phones.
