Our office is located at 25 Karniks Bungalow, which is on Old Nagardas Road in Andheri East. We are right on the first floor, situated directly above the Aneri Saree Center. It’s an easy landmark for people to find because that saree shop has been there forever. The building itself is an older style bungalow, so it has a different feel than the new glass towers you see popping up everywhere in Andheri. We have a few rooms set up for our daily operations. It’s mostly desks, files, and some lab equipment we use. It’s not the quietest area because Old Nagardas Road is always busy with pedestrians and rickshaws, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over time. We share the building with a few other tenants, so there’s usually some activity on the stairs. We spend our days mostly on the computer or handling samples. There aren't any big corporate logos in the lobby or anything like that. It’s a very functional space where we just get on with the science side of things. We’ve been here for a good while and the location suits us well because it’s easy to get to from the station. We don’t spend much on making the place look fancy; we’d rather just have everything organized so we can work efficiently. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do every day without any unnecessary bells and whistles.
