Bhavana Electronics

Our shop is inside the Tinwala Building on Tribhuvan Road, specifically on the second floor at number 24. Most people find us by looking for the Dreamland Cinema first, since that’s the big landmark around here. It’s an old building, so it has that specific smell of old concrete and maybe a bit of dust, but it’s home to us. Bhavana Electronics is mostly just a few rooms packed with soldering irons, circuit boards, and piles of spare parts. We spend our days hunched over benches fixing things that people bring in or assembling small batches of boards. It’s not very glamorous work, and the lighting in the building could be better, but we’ve got our own desk lamps for the detailed stuff. The stairs can be a bit of a workout if you’re carrying a heavy box, but we’re used to it. Sometimes the noise from the street downstairs drifts up, especially when there’s a new movie playing at the cinema. We don't really have a receptionist or anything like that. If the door is open, you just walk in and one of us will look up from whatever we’re fixing. We’ve been on this floor for years, and we know most of the other tenants in the building by name. It’s a simple setup, but it’s where we do our work and help out folks who need their electronics sorted before they head home.
