Bharat Plastic Works

Our workshop is in Malad West, right near the Somwar Bazaar area at 51/A. If you have ever been to Somwar Bazaar, you know how lively and packed it gets. Bharat Plastic Works has been part of this neighborhood for a long time now. We mostly focus on making plastic goods that people use every day. It’s a lot of repetitive work, watching the machines and making sure the plastic sets right. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place where we can keep our equipment and stock. We have seen the area change a lot over the years, with new buildings coming up, but we are still here doing the same things. It’s hot work, especially during the months before the monsoon hits. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us making sure the orders are filled and the quality is okay for what the customers are paying. We get a lot of walk-ins because of the location. People stop by with an idea or a broken part, and we see if we can help them out. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just plastic manufacturing. We keep the machines oiled and the floor swept as much as possible. It is a local business through and through, and we plan on staying that way for as long as people need plastic parts.
