You can find Bhanu Agencies on the first floor of Krislon House. We are located in the Sakivihar East area of Andheri East. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai with a lot of offices and big warehouses everywhere you look. Our office is a bit of a climb up the concrete stairs, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly desks and stacks of paper invoices. We act as an agency for products, so we spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out emails to people. There’s always someone coming in or out with a delivery note or a small sample to show us. The traffic on Sakivihar Road can be a real nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our logistical work done early in the day before the rush. We don’t have any fancy signs or modern glass walls like the new buildings nearby. It’s just a regular Mumbai office space with old filing cabinets and a water cooler in the corner. We’ve been here for a good amount of time and we know most of the other businesses in this building. Our team is small, mostly people who have been with us since we first opened. We don’t do much in terms of promotion or sales calls. We just focus on connecting the suppliers with the right buyers and making sure the orders are actually shipped on time. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons.
