Bhandari Furniture Mart

If you’re walking around Shivaji Park or the Mahim area, you’ll likely pass by our shop. Bhandari Furniture Mart is located at 235/4 Kelwadi on L J Road, right in the Rewa Bhuwan building. It’s a familiar spot for people who live around here. The shop is filled with the smell of wood and polish, which stays with you even after you leave. We spend our time moving pieces around to make space for new arrivals. L J Road is always packed with people and cars, so there’s a lot of energy right outside our door. We’ve been part of this street for a long time. The space inside is packed pretty tight with tables, chairs, and cupboards. Sometimes it’s hard to walk through the aisles without bumping into a corner. We don't have a big corporate setup, just a local mart where things are done the old-fashioned way. We know the regular customers by name and often stop for a chat when they pass by. Rewa Bhuwan is an older building and it has its own character, just like the furniture we keep inside. The lights inside are a bit dim compared to the bright street outside, but it helps keep the place cool. We do our own lifting and shifting, and there’s always something that needs to be dusted or moved to the front. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close the shutters.
