Bhal Mahila Agri Producer Company Limited

We are basically a group of people working together under Bhal Mahila Agri Producer Company Limited. It is a bit strange being up on the 20th floor of Solitaire CHS here in Hiranandani Gardens. Most of what we deal with is far away from the tall buildings of Powai, but this is where we handle the paperwork. Mumbai is a crowded place and being in Mumbai City means we spend a lot of time in traffic or on the phone. Our office is quite high up, giving us a good view, though we are mostly looking at spreadsheets and bills all day. We started this because there was a need to organize things better for the farmers we work with. It is not always easy coordinating everything from a big city office, especially when the actual farming happens in completely different conditions. People come and go here, mostly staff trying to keep the accounts straight. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. It's just desks, computers, and a lot of files about agricultural produce. Sometimes the elevators take forever, but that's just part of life in a skyscraper. We try to keep things simple and get the work done without making a big fuss about it. We have been at this address for a while now and the neighbors in the building are mostly other offices doing different things. It’s a busy spot but we manage to stay focused on the agri side of things.
