Damodare Agro Marketing Pvt Ltd is located over at Parvati Khetwadi 413. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when things are moving fast. We deal with agricultural stuff, mostly helping farmers get their things to where they need to go. It’s not a clean job. There is dirt and bags stacked up everywhere. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the narrow lane, and everyone has to shout to get them moved. We've been here a long time. The office is small, just enough space for a few chairs and a computer that’s a bit slow. We spend most of our time talking to people on the phone or out in the yard. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a break for tea under the shade. We aren't trying to be some big corporate thing. We just want to make sure the produce gets handled right. My father started this, and now we just keep it going. It’s a lot of paperwork sometimes, which none of us really likes, but it has to be done. We know the local farmers and they know they can come by and talk. There’s no fancy lobby or receptionist here. Just us and the work. If you walk past Parvati Khetwadi, you can’t miss the activity. We stay busy through the seasons. That’s how life is here and we wouldn't change it.
