Agri Lab

Agri Lab is tucked away in the Powai Sindhi Commercial Market. We are at number 311, right near the Kabutar Khana area. If you know the market, you know it gets really loud with all the pigeons and the people buying things. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It has these old desks and some lab equipment that we’ve been using for years. We spend most of our mornings just sorting through samples that come in. The air smells a bit like dust and sometimes chemicals from the testing. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people just know we are here. The light in the afternoon hits the windows in a weird way, making it hard to see the computer screens for an hour or so. We usually take a break then and grab some chai from the guy downstairs. He’s been there as long as we have. The floor is a bit uneven in the corner near the sink. We’ve talked about fixing it but never get around to it because there is always more work to do. It’s a busy life here in Powai. You hear the traffic from the main road all day long. We just keep our heads down and do the testing. It’s a lot of repetitive stuff, but it’s what we know. The files are stacked up on the shelves because we still keep a lot of paper records. It’s just how we do things.
