Bhairav Mobile Shop

Bhairav Mobile Shop is tucked away in Malad West at 115/2. It’s a small shop, but it gets the job done for the people in the neighborhood. We mostly deal with mobile phones, whether someone needs a new screen or just a plastic case to keep their phone from breaking. The street outside is always crowded with rickshaws and people going to the market. We have a small glass counter where we show the different chargers and cables we have. Most of the day is spent looking through a magnifying glass at small parts and trying to fix buttons that don't work anymore. It can get pretty hot in here during the summer months because the shop faces the sun, but we have a small fan that keeps us going. We don't use any fancy language or try to sell people things they don't need. If a phone is too old to fix, we just tell them straight. People come to us because we are right here on the corner and we recognize the faces of the families who live in the nearby buildings. Sometimes we have a backlog of repairs, so the back shelf is full of phones with little sticky notes on them. It’s just us working through the pile one by one. The address isn't hard to find if you are walking down that main stretch in Malad West. We just try to stay busy and keep the lights on every day.
