Bhagirath

We've been at 39 Masjid Bunder West for a long time. Our place is up on the second floor, which is a bit of a walk up the stairs every day. It keeps us away from the direct noise of the street, though the sounds of the market still find their way up here. Bhagirath is essentially where we spend all our hours. People stop by when they are doing their rounds in the market area. Masjid Bunder is always incredibly crowded, so you really have to navigate through the carts and the people. We open the doors early in the morning and don't head out until quite late at night. It gets a bit dusty with all the trucks and activity outside. Most people who know us find their way even without a big sign. The stairs are narrow and sometimes a bit steep if you aren't used to them. We just take things as they come. It’s a regular workplace for us. There isn't anything fancy to see, just our desks, some stock, and the usual things you find in an office here. The whole neighborhood is busy with people moving goods. From the second floor, we can see the tops of the buses and trucks. It has been this way for a lot of years. We just keep doing what we do.
