Benz Collection

Benz Collection is located over on Haines Road, right near the BD Road intersection by Haji Ali at number 92. It is a busy part of town and we have been in this spot for a good while now. The shop isn't very large but we manage to fit quite a lot of stuff on the racks and shelves. Every morning starts with opening up the shutters and dusting off the displays because the traffic nearby kicks up a lot of grit. We see a lot of people passing through on their way to the shrine or just commuting through the area. Most of our day is spent helping people find what they need or just chatting with the other shopkeepers on the block. It’s not a corporate setup at all, just a local business where we know most of the people who walk in. Sometimes the rains make the street outside a bit of a mess, but we stay open regardless. We have a mix of items that we’ve gathered over time and we just put them out for people to see. There isn't a big team here, just a couple of us making sure everything is in its place. The lighting inside is a bit old-fashioned but it works well enough for what we do. It’s a decent place to spend the day and we like being part of the Haji Ali neighborhood. Most of our customers come back because they know us personally.
